Hello my name is  Mr. Bagley and  I will be teaching mathematics and language arts this year. I will be teaching the standard course of study this year in a small group setting to ensure intense, direct and individualized instruction during 3rd and 4th period of the day 12:15-1:15 (language arts) and 1:15-2:20 (mathematics) The first two periods of my day will be in a co-teaching setting with Mrs. Pickler (mathematics) and Mrs. Shoaf (language art's).  I look forward to all the good things that are to come this school year.

What to expect the month of November 2009....

Language Arts

* We will be working out of our Interactive Reader Plus Book.

* Student will also work out of there WordSkills book.

*Students will have a WordSkills vocabulary quiz every Friday.

*In addition we will put the finishing touches on out Big 6 Research Paper
the students will be typing those papers.

*We will also work on grammar and writing which will be a focus the entire
entire school year.

Mathematics

*What to expect the Month of November in Math
 
* We have just finished up with ClassScape this last week of October

* We will begin Functions week 11 (only an introduction recognizing the graphs of functions)

*Week 12 We will begin to work with Circles, Volume of Pyramids&Cones
Report cards will also go out that week 11/10/2009.

*Week 13 we will continue to work with Volume and I will introduce students to
Surface Area we will review on Nov. 19 and have a test on Friday Nov. 20th

*Week 14 is a short week we will catch up and Review Study Island. Tues. 11/24 is an
an early release day and Thanksgiving Break follows. (HAPPY THANKSGIVING)

*When Students return which will be the beginning of week 15 we will begin to
work on Changing Dimensions. An update for the Month of December will follow.

* Student will have homework and it will be notated in their Agendas please check
Agendas please check them daily and sign them. Thanks.

* Beginning the Month of November I will be staying after school from 2:30 til 3:15
for students who need extra help please encourage your students to stay.
