Welcome to Mrs. Rivers' Schoolnotes Web pageThe Kings Team is off to a great start in Social Studies!Students have already gathered lot's of information related to North Carolina. We will be using almanacs in the media center to compare N.C. and another state. Students will be creating a outline comparing the two states in the computer lab. A visual will be created to complete our comparisons of the two states. We have also kicked off "Election 2008". Each student will gather, evaluate, and discuss information related to the upcoming Presidential and Gubernatorial (Governor's)elections. Students will participate in a mock elections at Knox Middle School prior to the national and state elections. Please ask and discuss our "Election 2008" unit with your child.
