Study Island is in operation again this year.  The students are able to use it at home as well as in school.  Their user names & passwords are the same as last year.  If they don't remember either please let me know & I will give them that information.  They may practice both Reading & Math skills in this program.

Reading:   We did skills workbook pages to complete the story.  

The last day to receive AR points for this year is Wednesday, May 30th.

The Accelerated Reading program is continuing for this year and the students are required to complete 18 points for the fourth grading period. The child will earn 1 bonus point to be  added to their grade for every 5 points over the required number of points.  The website that is to be used to see if the book has a quiz & the number of points is www.renlearn.com (the same as last year). Please check to make sure that your child is working on these points as it will be part of their Reading grade.   Please check that all AR points are finished.  

Science:   We took the test on chapter 3.  

Religion:  Room 112 workedin their last Venture magazine.  Room 113 completed pages 300-303 on the ways the Church practices respect, peace & justice.  The test on chapters 24,25,26 will be on June 1st.  

Extra Notes:

 All Math books MUST be returned by May 31st.  There are 8 that need to be returned as of today.
