Welcome to Bennet Academy!

For Language Arts/Reading we are working on group novels and stories from our literature book. We are practicing editing and revising with our Daily language worksheets, and we are working on our comprehension with weekly comprehension packets.  Reading logs are given out at the beginning on Friday, and are due back, signed by a parent, the following Friday.  Students should be reading at least 20 minutes a night.

For math we have been working on multiplying and dividing fractions.  Students were given notebooks and folders for math the first few days of school and they are expected to use them.  All papers should be kept in that folder until we clean them out together in class.  The notebook is used for taking notes in class and for working on the problem of the month that is given out at the beginning of the month and must be completed by the given due date at the end of the month.

Each student on our team was given a homework folder and an agenda.  These are to be used every day to keep track of homework assignments.
