OCTOBER For LanguageArts/Reading we are working on stories from our reading book, we are practicing editing and revising with our Daily language worksheets, and we are learning lists of spelling words with our weekly spelling packets. For math we have been working on place value, adding and subtracting decimals, and factoring. Each student on our team was given a homework folder and an agenda. These are to be used every day to keep track of homework assignments. Students were also given notebooks and folders for math the first few days of school and they are expected to use them. All papers should be kept in that folder until we clean them out together in class. The notebook is used for taking notes in class and for working on the problem of the month that is given out at the beginning of the month and must be completed by the given due date at the end of the month.
