Hello, my name is Mrs. MaiKo Yang, and I am one of the school counselors here at North Rowan Middle School.  Welcome to a new year!

OUR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

Our guidance department is designed to support, encourage and promote the academic, career, personal/social growth and development of all students.  Through the guidance curriculum by the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, various needs of our students will be addressed.  As school counselors, we work with parents, students, teachers, and community agencies to help ensure that students learn and develop to their highest potentials.

Volunteers Needed/Wanted

The guidance department is always looking for any adults who have a few hours to spare during the testing season (May-June).  If you want to volunteer, please call Mrs. Brigman at 704-639-3018.
