Read story for the week, "The Nutcracker," and discuss ( Levels 1 and 2). 9:00-9:30: Introduce spelling words for the week and write spelling words (Level 1). Spelling words for the week: animal, another, around, upon, about, above, never, open, ever, and over. The sentence for this week is: Another bus never came for us. 9:30:10:30: Saxon 2nd Grade Phonics., Lesson 71 (Level 2). Language: Compound words, root words, prefixes and suffixes. Put spelling words in ABC order and write sentences with the words. 10:30-11::00: Resource students will be in SS/Science inclusion. 11:00-11:30: Lunch 11:30-11:45: 3rd grade math.
