5TH Grade Religion

Hello and welcome to the Religion website for FIFTH  grade.

REMINDER: STUDENTS WERE GIVEN A MONTHLY MASS REFLECTION SHEET THIS PAST WEEK. STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND A CHRISTIAN SERVICE MONTHLY during this school year. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE NOVEMBER 1^ST. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

On Monday, students will begin chapter 3. THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETING THE TAKE HOME ACTIVITY ON PAGE 49. Students along with at least one family member will have to create and design a banner centering around a beatitude that both the adult and child are going to implement through their actions. THIS ASSISNMENT IS DUE ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST AND WILL BE THE FIRST GRADE STUDENTS RECEIVE IN THE SECOND QUARTER.

It is so important that we teach students to lead by example as this is one of the main focuses of Jesus’ teachings.

This week is centering on the Beatitudes. Students will talk about the beatitudes, reflect on each one, and discuss what it means to live by the beatitudes as Jesus did.

Please always remember that you lay a huge role in your child’s faith formation and it is important that we show a bond to allow your child to reach his/her calling as a follower in faith!
