Spider Monkeys

This week we will continue our unit on the conditions of colonial America that led to the rebellion as well as the role North Carolina played in the American Revolution. Students have been given a copy of the novel, My Brother Sam is Dead. This novel is about the American Revolution. Students will be expected to read and complete homework assignments from this novel over the next two weeks.

Homework February 4: Read chapter 5. Complete the study guide questions from chapters 3-5. Answers must be in complete sentences and incorporate the question into the answer. There will be a quiz on chapters 3-5 tomorrow.

There have been a number of students missing school due to sickness and injuries. Please note that we stay after school on Thursdays from 3:15-4:30 for students to make up work or receive extra help.
We must have a note if you want your child to stay after school.
We have the 4:30 bus running so if you want your child to stay after and ride the bus home, you must include that on the note. In addition, I can usually meet with students before school (7:40-8:15 am) if they need to make up assignments. Please just email me and let me know if this is more convenient.

If you need to check the Homework Hotline, the number is 704-857-1852, ext. 2801.
