Mission

The mission of the Fort Service Learning Magnet Academy Middle School Counseling Program is to support the administrative team, teachers, parents, and community in preparing all our students for the future.  The mission involves providing a safe, caring and learning environment for all students in the areas of their academic, career, and social-emotional development.

Vision

The vision of the Guidance and Counseling program is to provide a developmental comprehensive program that addresses the academic, social and emotional needs of all students.  As the school counselor, I facilitate and coordinate a support system to ensure that all students are prepared and have access to the knowledge and skills necessary to become globally competitive lifelong learners.  Students are supported through classroom guidance, individual and small group counseling.

Have a successful 2016-2017 school year!
