I have sent out a new newsletter this Friday, I will be sending a condensed version every Friday with the Family Ties note that shows homework for the week and items we will be covering the following week. I have a lot of the children's work still at school and will be passing it out this coming Monday.

***Up-Coming Events***
Changes for the Fall Harvest Festival, it is now schedueled for Thursday, October 30th, more info coming.

Our Fall Book Fair will be held September 29th through October 3rd. The first Monday night will be family night, families can all come browse and buy books.

***Field Trip***
We will be visiting "The Great Pumpkin Patch" in Hayden, Alabama October 20th. All parents are welcome, just know that you will have to follow the busses to the pumpkin patch.  I will be needing several parents to go as chaperones to assist in helping with the children, there are several activities at the Pumpkin Patch.                                                                                              

***** Field Trip Shirts*****                                                   

You can buy a class field trip shirt for your child and yourself. We will be wearing these shirts on any field trip that we take this this school year. All orders for the class shirt need to be in to me by the morning of Thursday, September 25th. The orders must be turned in by Friday, but I will not be at school, so if any one can not turn them into me by Thursday morning you may personally give the order with the money to Mrs. Michelle Cagle. Her room is located across the hall with the orange door.

Parent visitation day will be held on October 27th from 3:00 - 7:00pm. If I haven't gotten to meet you yet or if I have, come and visit the classroom and check out how well your child is doing.

We now have photos posted onto our photos page, check them out! I have some photos of the community helpers who came and visited this week and of the children who dressed up, The children looked real cute!!!!!!

As the school year continues I will be adding high frequency words, number and color words to this site. You can click on the flashcards button at the top of the page to view the words that we are learing and to let your children practice reading the words.
