Tues., 5/28 & Wed., 5/29 - The signed Final grade report is due now.  This week we're researching and designing a 'container' [no wider than a notebook paper] that will keep a raw egg intact (no cracks) upon dropping them from a great height.  BTW - Knott's paperwork is also due to the office on Wednesday, 5/29 - only cash.

Thurs., 5/30 - Decorating the egg, giving it a name and testing the 'container'.  If the egg survives, it will be dropped from a greater height tomorrow.  

Friday 5/31 - Testing the device of the 'surviving' eggs.  Hope to see you tonight at the 8th grade dance (6-8:30pm)!  Yearbook distribution on Monday -  if you didn't purchase one, stop by the store and make your own 'memory' booklet ;)

Mon. 5/13 - Graph analysis and patterns in ecosystems.  Quiz for periods 2, 4 and 6 this Friday.  Study your vocabulary and worksheets with ecosystem interactions.

Tues. 5/14 and Wed. 5/15 - Finish vocabulary work (definition, sentence, drawing, non-example) for: abiotic factor, biotic factor, ecosystem, predator, prey, mutualism, competition, parasitism, symbiosis, commensalism.

Thurs., 5/16 and Fri., 5/17 - Quiz today.  Finish analyzing ecosystem scenarios and practicing for the science test next week.  Get your rest.

Tues., 4/23 - Learning about teen pregnancy.  If opted out, do the assignments posted on Google class code jryp7mm  [computer science] everyday after checking in with the teacher.  Tomorrow is an exception.

Wed., 4/24 - Finish the Nearpod 'Potential and Kinetic energy' - NO health education lesson today.

Thurs., 4/25 - Check your grades and turn in any missing work.  Quiz retakes, if earned a D or F, study and drop by after per 4 in room 28.  The best score you can earn is 77% or 10/13.

Tuesday, 1/8 - Observe the Moon and shade in the area that is NOT 'lit' on 'My Moon Journal'.  For a full moon, don't shade in but detail some visible craters if observed.  

Wednesday, 1/9 - Quiz on calendars, Moon and eclipses next Thursday?  Review/study daily.

Thursday, 1/10 - Finish the classwork - 2 lunar phase activities.

Friday, 1/11 - Review this weeks' topics: calendars, Moon & phases, eclipses.

Wed., 11/28 - Quiz next Thursday, 12/6 on Earth cycles (day, night, seasons) and tomorrow's vocabulary.

Thurs., 11/29 - Finish the Vocabulary work [definition, characteristics, example and non-example] for:  day, night, axis, orbit, rotation, revolution, year, seasons, North Star, beam spreading.

Fri., 11/30 - Review for next week's quiz.  Finish your 9 vocabulary words and the activity 'Rotation observations' (blue WKS) - it is due Monday.

Thursday, 8/30 -  Continue with presentations today.  Possibly start with 'Archimedes' principle'.

Friday, 8/31 - Finish up the 'Archimedes' principle classwork.   Have a safe and enjoyable "Labor Day" weekend!
