FRIENDLY REMINDERS  :)

Please be sure to check over your student's Weekly Report each week. We have stapled this great tool of communication between school and home in the front of your student's agenda.  Also please be sure to sign the Weekly Report each Thursday, as it will be reviewed and checked by the homeroom teacher every Friday morning.

The Homework Hotline is another great way of staying connected with your student's education.  Homework assignments are updated daily and can be accessed by calling the following number: 704-279-0790-- Ext. 6003.  Your student should be writing down assignments daily in their agenda, but this is a great way just to check up on what they are writing down.

******MATH CLASS*****

We are midway through the second quarter and are beginning our study of fractions.  We will be working with comparing and ordering fractions, along with mixed number and improper fraction conversions.  We will also work with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.

**One last reminder:  PLEASE encourage your student to refresh their knowledge of Multiplication facts.  Knowing these will help their success in Math this year tremendously.
