PTO SCHOOLNOTES PAGE:

August 27 (tentative) Welcome Packet packing party, EHGEMS Library 7 pm.

August 31st:  Open House, 9:00am - 10:30 am.

September 1st:  1st day of school

September 11th:  Pizza Night:  5:30 - 7:30 (volunteers needed!)

September 15:  7 pm:  Fall Fest Planning Meeting--all are welcome!

September 16:  First PTO meeting!

September 18:  All School Field Trip to the Science Center

September 22:  (tentative) Curriculum night

September 25: 10 am--Fall Fest Planning Meeting

September 29:  7 pm--Fall Fest Planning Meeting

The PTO is currently looking for a few dedicated individuals to serve on the Executive Board:

Fundraising Co-chairs--coordinate all fundraising activites of the PTO

Secretary Co-Chair--serve as backup the the PTO Secretary

PTSO Representative:  attends meetings of the Glastonbury PTSO and serves on one of their committees, reports back to the EHGEMS PTO.

Board members will serve for a period of one year, attend monthly meetings and the periodic general PTO meetings throughout the year.  Please contact Candy or Lisa for more information.

Also, the Advisory Board is looking for parents to serve on the Board for a two year term.  There are 5 meeting per year to attend, approximately 1 hour in duration.  For more information, please see the student handbook or contact the office at 622-5400.
