Welcome!! What a great Fall we are having!! If you missed Fall Fest -you missed a great time. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for this event, and congratulations to all the raffle winners! Thank you EHGEMS Families for stopping by at McDonald's to help support our school! We made over $500 at our November Family Night--one of the most successful to date! Fall Beautification was also great sucess--the EHGEMS grounds look great and are ready for winter. Thanks to all of the volunteers that braved the drizzly morning to help out on what turned out to be a gorgeous day! The kids had a lot of fun too! We've got a few events coming up--if you can help even for an hour with any of the following, please contact Lisa Johnson at lcjohnson65@hotmail.com or Candy Hammond at chammond@snet.net . Upcoming Events:
December 7th -- 12th: Scholastic Book Fair (during early dismissal week)
December 12th: Holiday Arts & Crafts (Book Fair will be open as well) January: Jan. 6th: Magnetic Attractions planning meeting, 7pm
What is magnetic attractions? It's our after school enrichment program beginning in March 2010. We offer classes for one hour after school for a period of about 5 weeks. Classes are taught primarily by you--the parents! We also have some staff and other volunteer instructors. Classes range from Science subjects like Kitchen Chemistry to Art to Music. Classes can be a one time, one hour class, or span over the course of several weeks. This event takes a lot of volunteers with planning, recruiting instructors, creating the schedule, enrolling students, collecting any fees due and sending out confirmations. If anyone out there has a hidden talent to they can share with our students or would like to help out on the committee, please contact Lisa Johnson at lcjohnson65@hotmail.com
We need You!!
