Pre-algebra/Algebra

Hello all! Hope everything is going well. Reminder to parents that tutoring is every Wednesday from 3:30-4:15 and homework help is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:40-7:55. Wednesday is sign up but the mornings are for anyone who can make it. Thanks.

Technology:
All students will become familiar with the TI-84 plus graphing calculators.

A list of helpful math websites was sent home on 12/8/07. I hope you are finding these sites helpful.

4/8/08 It is now 4th quarter and time for us to begin putting on the finishing touches. We will be learning fewer concepts but continue to fine tune our skills with lots of review.
Reminder to parents that students will be responsible for taking a classscape quiz via internet once a week. Students are given a class code on Monday and they have until Friday at 6:00 of that week to finish it. They may use school computers only during homeroom and they may also use their own computers. It is not available at all on weekends and on weekdays it shuts down at 6:00. Classscape is a new program that Rowan Salisbury Schools has bought into. It is very helpful tool for EOG review and covers all of the goals of the eighth grade curriculum.

Thursday, 6/5/08 3rd and 4th period
Friday, 6/6/08 1st and 2nd

1st period math is the Algebra I EOC
