Homeroom Information: Please contact me if you have questions/concerns regarding your student. It is my goal to keep you informed and up to date on your child's progress. Please remember how important it is for your child to be at school all day every day. However, if your child is sick and must miss school, we will work with him or her to get caught up. Please remind your student to check with the team teachers during homeroom and class to get missed work. Please ask your student to see his or her gradesheet and graded papers! These will be coming home to be signed by parents/guardians this Tuesday! General Information: How do I..... -get missed work when I 'm absent? Look in Mrs. Powers' agenda at the front of the room. ASK if you cannot find your work. -know what my grade is? grades are calculated as 65% classwork, 25% tests/quizzes, 10% homework. Each student now has an individual gradesheet that he or she will keep up to date. THis is a good way to keep track of missed assignments, too! -find my homework if I forget? Call the homework hotline at 704-633-9496 ext. 8001 -get extra help from Mrs. Powers if I need it? I am at school most morning around 7:00.
