2008-2009  Welcome to my speech, language, voice and fluency page. For newcomers, my name is Mrs. Susan Tobie-Wallach, speech language pathologist.  Over the  past two years, I have listed speech links for additional practice and fun. This year, since I am now seeing PreK, elementary and middle school children, I hope to list a greater range of links. I left my old links on the list since they are still valuable.  Remember to supervise your child on the computer.

  • Christmas Fun Activity
  • School Express Click on fun time games. The word finding and math generator are great for practicing the basics. Have fun!
  • Vocabulary This is a game site for building new vocabulary.
  • Quia There are word lists here for readers to practice articulation.
  • The Sounds of Spoken Language I have found a link that pronounces sounds in isolation. You can see a diagram of mouth movement and a real person saying individual sounds. Click on American English. Click on manner. Choose a button in the second row (e.g. liquid). Click on the sound furthest to the left (letter e.g. /r/). Then click on the blue arrow under the diagram to play. Double click on the blue arrow under the photograph to make her talk.
  • Starfall This is a great site for sound practice!
