~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May 21-25, 2012 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BRYAN is our TOP CAT this week, and we will celebrate his BIRTHDAY on THURSDAY, MAY 24th!!! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, it's a BIG week in second grade!! * Please pray for nice weather for our field trip to the farm on Wednesday! Don't forget to send your child to school with a completely disposable lunch in a plastic or paper bag with his/her name on it, dressed for the weather (play clothes), and wearing sturdy shoes. (If the forecast is hot & sunny, you may want to apply sunscreen to your child before leaving home.) * On Thursday, you need to send your child to school wearing his/her First Communion outfit. Don't forget to pack his/her school uniform and shoes/socks in his/her bookbag, to change into after the Mass! Any parent who would like to, may come over to the classroom after the Mass to help their child change clothes and to take the First Communion outfit home with them at that time. In fact, it would be a GREAT help! * I also want to remind you that it's not too late to order the (school 2nd grade) group First Communion photo that will be taken after the Mass. You may send the payment in to school in the next two days or bring it with you to the Mass on Thursday. * Next Tuesday is Field Day. Today the teams were announced. Ask your child what color team he/she is on. Students are asked to wear a shirt in their team color on Field Day. It is a full "Dress Down" day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HOMEWORK: May 14-18, 2012 MONDAY: 1. Write words misspelled on Spelling pretest, 5x each in Star Notebook 2.
