Erwin’s ENRICHMENT Lab

Students in ENRICHMENTreceive extra help in reading or math skills primarily through the use of a Compass Learning computer program. They work on their own level at their own pace. Specific skills are targeted to coordinate with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and, therefore, the EOG. Thinking processes are modeled to enable students to develop their own problem solving skills.

Students are assigned to ENRICHMENT for one quarter. They are selected based on their previous year’s EOG scores. Since each class has no more than 15 students, one-on-one help is available. ENRICHMENT has proven to be an effective means of improving math and reading skills.

 This quarter is off to a great start. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own headphones or earbuds to use in class. With the flu season in full swing, it is more sanitary not to share headphones or earbuds. If you need to contact me,my extension is 327.
