Special notes:

Final exams and Performance Assessments- This week, we will begin Performance Assessments.  These tests can not be studies for, but test the students' application of skills learned.  They will be graded and returned in the test folders.  Also, the students can begin reviewing for Religion, ELA, and Math final exams. The Religion study guide came home, and I will be sending an ELA and Math study guide this week.

Math: We will be ready to test Math chapter 9, Geometry, on Thursday the 24. The topics include polygons, quadrilaterals, parallelograms, perimeter, area, volume, and problem solving using these topics. The homework sheet that was to be completed last Monday and Tuesday should be very helpful.

ELA: We will be completing our last book report on a chapter book of the student's choice. The chapter book should be fiction. I will send home a template and directions soon.

Religion:  We have moved to Sacraments of Healing, Chapter 19.  We will test chapters 18 and 19 together, most likely next week.

Science:  We will begin Life Science, Chapter 2.

Social Studies:  We are working on Chapter 9, which discusses change in cultures.
