Course overview for Chemistry During this course students will bepresented with chemistry topics and materials in many different formats. Students will be expected to performindividual and group work. Presentation of material and information will bemulti-media: lecture, video,internet, laboratory, etc. Students will need to have or develop good note-taking skills anddisciplined study habits and routines to be successful in this course. Development of good time management skills is essential. Course overview for Physical Science This is an introductory course in both chemistry and physics. This is an EOC class and does count as a physical science credit towards graduation. You will need to score a III or IV on the EOC to receive a passing grade for the class. Presentation of material and information will bemulti-media: lecture, video,internet, laboratory, etc. Students will need to have or develop good note-taking skills anddisciplined study habits and routines to be successful in this course. Development of good time managementskills is essential. Physical science is a vertical course. If you get lost, SEEK HELP IMMEDIATELY!!! All notes, study guides, and powerpoints are available by request. Please bring in a USB flash/jump drive or blank CD if you would like a copy.
