Welcome to Physical Science and Marine Biology



Course overview for Physical Science



This is an introductory course in both chemistry and physics. This is an EOC class and does count as a physical science credit towards graduation. You will need to score a III or IV on the EOC to receive a passing grade for the class. You will need a writing utensil, paper, a calculator and your book everyday. This class also has a $10 lab fee. This course moves quickly. Physical science is a vertical course. If you get lost, SEEK HELP IMMEDIATELY!!!

All notes, study guides,  and powerpoints are available by request.  Please bring in a USB flash/jump drive or blank CD if you would like a copy.


 Course overview for Marine Biology

This course is a non-EOC science course studying aquatic ecology.  Within the first week, you will receive the guidelines for a year-long project that will count 50% of your grade for the COURSE (not quarter).  This syllabus will include all deadlines and how the project will be graded.  If there are any questions or problems, see me as soon as possible!!  This class is most likely required for you to graduate.

 Classroom information

My room is now Room 114L and the extension is 144.  I will be available by request after school to make up tests and work or to get help.  If no one shows up by 2:45pm, we will leave.  
The after school schedule is as follows: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays are available MOST weeks. If I will not be available, I will tell you as soon as possible.

Make-up Work is only allowed under certain circumstances.

All students must pay a lab fee of $10.  This money must be turned in as soon as possible.  This can keep students from being to obtain a parking tag or from graduating.  Please email me if you have any questions or issues with this policy.
