![]() Mrs. McClung Room 6 Language Arts/ Reading GLACIER TEAM Thank you students for your hard work and dedication. Christmas break is almost here! We have just finished reading "A Christmas Carol." Students are studying the characteristics of drama. Examples include: plot, setting, stage directions, narrations, mood , and tone. Mr. Klinger's class will perform the play in the cafeteria on December 21, 2010. Students will compare and contrast the reading with the play. They will have to fill out a chart on how the oral presentation differs from the reading aspect of the play. We are also working on the vocabulary words . Students will have a quiz on December 21, 2010 on the first ten words. The objectives were are covering are: Objective 1.01 - Narrate a personal account with journals Objective 5.01- Study different types of genres Parents, I encourage you to e-mail me anytime with questions or concerns you may have.
