In the 2008-2009 school year I was selected as a Rowan-Salisbury 21st century classroom teacher. My classroom is equipped with laptops, ipods, cameras, and various other technology for the students to use. Many of our lessons are technology-oriented and students are expected to treat all equipment with respect.
How can I be successful?!
1. Be at school. Attendance is essential to success in math. We do something new nearly everyday, and you can quickly get behind. 7th graders this year have core classes at the end of the day and checking out early means missing valuable math instruction.
2. Pay attention!! As long as you listen in class and take notes, you will be successful.
Please know that I want all students to be successful, as long as this is something they want as well.
3. Come to class prepared. I only accept work in pencil. Repeatedly coming to class unprepared will result in team consequences.
If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to email or contact me via phone (704) 279 7265 ext. 314.
