Welcome Back Students! We are starting another
successful school year here at Erwin on the Glacier and Blizzard teams.  I am looking forward to getting to know each and every student and watch his or her work continue to grow in leaps and bounds.

Currently in Language Arts, we are studying Fables, working on sentence structure, and practicing vocabulary using WordSkills.

My 6th period class is also reading "Holes".

We will be working on argumentative writing in the coming weeks.

In math, we are working on combining like terms and translating words into math.  In coming weeks, we will begin solving equations and exploring integers and rational numbers.

In late October, our team will be going to the zoo.
