One is NetTrekker. It is a powerful tool to aid internet searches. It filters out inappropriate content, which removes useless hits that overwhelmingly clutter the results of internet searches. It can easily be used at school because access is automatic, though certain features are only accessible by logging in as an individual user. It can also be used at home. This requires a person to log-in to access the service. See me to get the assigned username and password for you and/or your students. Another tool being made available is called EDU 2.0. It is a tool for connecting education to the world. It allows educators and their students to connect with one another via the internet in a safe monitored environment. This promises to be a very empowering tool as we all learn more about it. Here is some important information concerning copyright. As technology advances, it is easier to find and use the intellectual property of others.
