Week of May 24-25

Students completed Science NECAP's last week. They all did a great job and put forth great effort! This week students will be working in class in their final project,Newton's Racers (balloon cars). They will be competing to create a car that will travel 5 meters. They need to remember Newton's 3 Laws of Motion to do this. Students may choose a partner and will bring in materials to complete the car. The car will be built during class time. A final lab report will be the assessment for this assignment.

Monday:  Last week students chose partners and made a materials list. Partners will build cars

Thursday: Test and Modification day

HW: none

Friday: Final Test day, students will collect data (speed, distance, and time)
