Homework:

Read for 20-30 minutes each night in your independent reading book.  Complete 3 Book Responses in your reading journal each week. 

This homework assignment will be ongoing.  As students finish books, they should select a new one either from home, the library, or a book store.  Other homework wil be assigned during class, which will be required in addition to regular independent reading.
