Welcome to my web page. This year seems to be going by too fast. Your children are working very hard and I am very proud of their progress and efforts. The kindergarten has been working on classroom conduct, letter and number identification, learning the layout of the school and mastering the skills needed to be successful in first grade. The students have worked very hard this year and deserve to be commended for their efforts. I encourage parents to read to their children this will help them to be comfortable with text. It will also foster a love for literature that should continue throughout their lives. Flash cards are an excellent way to help with basic math facts and number recognition. The first through third grades will be working on specific goals relating to their IEP's as well as mastering any classroom work which they may need help with. The third grade will begin EOG practice and instruction once a week. The practices will be short. These short practice test will help them learn strategies and skills to assist the students with their EOGs.
