Welcome to Mrs. Shoop's Class
 We recently started our unit on fractions in math. During our reading block, we will have lessons and centers that will help students find and understand main idea. We have also been reading tall tales. In Social Studies, we finished our unit on geography and are now focusing on Early Americans. In science, we have recently begun learning about weather.  Reminder: When your child is out sick from school, we need a note when they return to school. Also, your child is responsible for any make-up work they have. UNIFORM REMINDER: School uniform colors are khaki and navy for bottoms and red, navy, and gray polo style tops. The students should also be wearing tennis shoes and belts every day. If your child wants to wear a sweatshirt in class it must be red, navy, or gray. It should not have any logos or decorations on it. If you purchased a Knollwood sweatshirt, that can be worn as well.
