My
Welcome Letter - attached -
IMPORTANT!!!!

I would reallllllly appreciate it if you would read my Welcome Letter or my Welcome Blog.  You will find my blog at the top of this page, or you can print a hard copy of my Welcome Letter by clicking it in the "My Files" link attached to this page.    On my Welcome Letter you will find LOTS OF DETAILS!!!  It explains how I grade, what I grade, how often students will have homework, what supplies to bring to class every day, what are bellringers, and so much more.

Something really important I didn't have room for on my Welcome Letter...

Why do I make all of my students show all of their work??????

1)  It helps students learn how to do a problem.
2)  It helps students get the answer correct.
3)  It helps me to see where a mistake was made.
4)  It helps a student see where they made a mistake.
5)  It makes it easier to do harder, multi-step problems once students know the basics of the easier problems.
6)  It's good to learn to follow directions.

If you don't care about #1-6, then read #7...

7)  If you don't, you won't get credit!!!!!!!!!!!

School Rules - It's simple...
  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible

You'll be hearing a lot about these in EVERY CLASS, EVERY DAY.

Online homework/study help!   -   WOW!!!!!

For every section of the book, there is an online homework help & study link online!  Just click the link at the bottom of this page in the "Favorite Links" section.

Not only will you see practice problems and practice quizzes, but you can even click on "VIDEO" and a video of an actual teacher will show you how to do the problems!!!!!!!

Check it out!!!!  It's AMAZING!!!!!  I wish they had that when I was in school!
