WEEK of February 6-10, 2012

The theme this week will be Valentine's.  We will also be learning about the letter N, rectangles and big/small in math. 

***Important Information***

Please keep Ms. Pina and her family in your prayers this weekend.  The services for her father will be held at Holy Martyrs on Saturday, February 4th.  The viewing is from 9-11am followed by the funeral mass at 11am. 

PROGRESS REPORTS were due back to school this week.  If you have not already, please return your child's signed progress report to school as soon as possible.  We will contact you this week if a conference was requested.

RE-REGISTRATION FORMS- will be sent home with students in Pre-3.  Please review the form and make any necessary changes and return it to school with a $100.00 registration fee by February 10th to ensure your child will have a spot for September.  Thank you for choosing Holy Martyrs Preschool and making us a part of your family!

INFORMATION NIGHT- HM Preschool is having an Information Session on Thursday, February 9th at 7pm for families seeking information for next school year.  Please tell your friends and neighbors with little ones about our preschool and spread the good word of our school!

HOT DOGS AND PIZZA- We will have hot dogs on Wednesday, February 8th and pizza on Friday, January 20th.  The cost is $1.50 for a hot dog and a snack and $2.50 for pizza and a snack.  Drinks are not included.

VALENTINES- Students may bring in Valentines for their classmates on Tuesday, February 14th.  We will have a special snack and hand out the Valentines to our friends.  Please make sure your child brings 21 valentines for his/her classmates.  Please just have them sign their names to the valentines.  It is easier to hand them out that way.  Free Red and Pink tag day on Valentine's Day! 

NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 17th for a Teacher In-Service Day or Monday, February 20th for President's Day

PRE-4 Homework-  Homework is sent home on Monday of each week and due on Friday.  

 Students may wear a white, gray, or navy blue long sleeve/turtleneck shirt under their HM t-shirt in the colder weather.
