Meeting Notice

A Men's Club meeting will be held on Monday, November 23 at 7:00 PM in the church basement.  Please note that this meeting is being held on a Monday, instead of the usual meeting day.

Volunteers are needed for the Christmas Winter Festival being held on the weekends of November 27th to 29th and December 4th to 6th.  See "Christmas Winter Festival" below for more details.

Anytime that you can help out at the festival will be appreciated, whether it is an hour or several hours.  If you can volunteer, please attend the meeting or send an e-mail to SHJMensClub@aol.com.

Christmas Winter Festival

Trees, Plants, Wreaths, Pine Swags, personalized Christmas Stockings, personalized Tree Ornaments, and personalized Santa Hats will be available for sale at the festival.

The table below lists the items that will be available for sale each day of the festival.

Grave blankets are available by special order.  The cost of a grave blanket is $75.00.  A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is required for each grave blanket at time of order.  You can place an order by filling in the form in the flyer in the church bulletin and giving it to a Men's Club committee member or sending an e-mail to SHJMensClub@aol.com.  Orders must be placed by Sunday, November 22, 2009.

The Christmas Winter Festival is sponsored by the Sacred Heart Church Men's Club and the Sacred Heart Home & School Association. 

SHJ Paint Fund

The painting of the interior of the church has begun.  You can help to paint the church by contributing:

$5 for a Paint Brush

$10 per Gallon of Paint (no limit to number of gallons)

Donations may be made in case or by check.  Checks should be made payable to SHJ Painting Fund.  A Men's Club member will be in the back of the church after the masses.

For more information on being a major contributor by financing the painting of a section of the church, please contact a Men's Club committee member or send an e-mail to SHJMensClub@aol.com.

Volunteers are needed to help renovate the church basement.  Any time that you can help out with this project will be appreciated, whether it is for one hour or several hours.  You do not need to have any special skills, just a wiliness to help.

The church basement will be used for parish activities when the renovations are complete.
