Welcome to Mrs. Ausmann's Science Page

         Hooray!  We are on our final week of school before summer break.  We have some fun activities planned for the upcoming week.  Monday, June 6 is our annual Reward trip to the Intimidators game.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be active days playing a softball tournament and volleyball tournament.  We will be having some very warm weather, so be prepared for that.  (some teachers will stay inside for any students that cannot handle the heat)  All books and borrowed items will be returned to teachers on Thursday.  Lockers will be emptied on that date and locks returned to homeroom teachers.  Friday will be our end of year award assembly.  It will be from 10:30-11:45 in the church beside our building.  We will have a sign-out sheet in the church if any parents want to sign out their child after the assembly.

            Remember that we send updated grades home with the students every two weeks in the organizers.  Keep up with homework by calling the hotline daily.  The hotline phone number (704-857-1852) and the Gecko code (2701) are in the organizer.  Use these to stay up to date.

                Keep using the weblinks below.  The textbook site is included.  See your syllabus for username and password for accessing the online textbook.  Some other sites are fun and gross, while others are great sources of scientific information.  (Remember, it is better to use models of dissection than to kill the poor, sweet, defenseless creatures of our world;  plus, models of dissection don't stink or get your hands dirty!)
