Welcome to my School Notes page. I will update it periodically. I have returned to Southeast Middle after being gone for 1 year. I was in in higher education in 2002-2003. I missed my middle school kids. I came back to help the youth.

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their effort this school year. The budget cuts have made many things a real challenge this year. If it wasn't for the administration, curriculum coaches, teachers, students, and parents, then this year could have been really tough. We got through EOG testing. Most of the students performed well. There was a lot of growth overall. I am excited about next year.

The test for Chapter 4 is on November 17, 2009. The students will begin reading Chapter 5(Measurement) on Wednesday. They are also responsible for doing the vocabulary for the chapter. Students will use rulers, tape measures, compasses, and protractors.

The students will also use units of measure in chapter 5 and by the end of the quarter begin chapter 6 (Percents).
