Guidance Department

Gulf Middle School counselors have special training in helping students solve their problems. We have two school counselors who split duties alphabetically for all three grade levels.  Our counselors follow the same students throughout their middle school years. Students can fill out a request form to see their counselor for any difficulty that they might encounter in school or at home. If there is an emergency situation, students receive permission from their teacher to see the counselor immediately. The guidance department encourages students to get to know their counselor and want students to know that the counselors are available to help in many different occasions.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES:

Before arranging a parent teacher conference, call your child’s Team Leader.  In most circumstances, by contacting the team leader we can accommodate you by communicating your needs to the rest of the team and by saving you valuable time.

Conferences are scheduled to begin promptly at 9:00am.  We ask that you bring your child to the conference and arrive on campus by 8:50am.  To schedule a parent/conference contact our Guidance Secretary:
