Daniels Chorus Concert Dates

1st Quarter Students: October 20, 2011 @ 7pm Daniels Auditorium

2nd Quarter Students: January 12, 2012 @ 7pm Daniels Auditorium

3rd Quarter Students: March 22, 2012 @ 7pm Daniels Auditorium

4th Quarter Students: May 17, 2012 @ 7pm Daniels Auditorium

Students must report to the chorus room by 6:30pm the evening of the concert. Students will receive three 100% test grades for performing in the evening concert. If a student can not attend the concert, they will not receive three zeros, they will just miss the opportunity to receive three 100% test grades.

Ladies must wear black or white or a combination of black and white, no flip flops. Men must wear black dress pants, black shoes, a white button down shirt and a tie (any color).

Concerts usually last about an hour. Awards will be given to the outstanding 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus member.

Year-Round Honors Chorus

All Honors Chorus students will perform at the concerts listed above, PLUS be responsible for the following additional dates:

• March 6, 2012: Mandatory after school rehearsal @ 2:20 - 3:45 Chorus Room
• March 9, 2012: District Choral Festival at Ligon Middle (time TBA)
• April 17, 2012: DC Preview Concert with Band @ 7pm Daniels Auditorium
• April 24, 2012: Mandatory after school rehearsal @ 2:20 - 3:45 Chorus Room
• April 26 - 28, 2012: SPRING TRIP to Washington DC
• May 15, 2012: After school rehearsal and end of the year party @ 2:20 - 3:45 Chorus Room
