September 17th, 2008 - Students have been working very hard in all areas of Language Arts. Today we had a test on "President Cleveland, Where Are You?" We also have been going through our Punctuation Unit. A reminder that Reading Logs are due on Friday. Tomorrow we will begin Unit 3 of Wordskills. We will also be continuing our Punctuation Unit, and we will begin a new story called "Lob's Girl".

September 26th, 2008 - We had a very short week this week. A few notes: Students need to be going over Vocabulary EVERY DAY, regardless if we have written homework or not, students should be spending about 5-10 minutes everyday on theif flashcards. We will be having a test on Unit 3 of Wordskills on Monday. Students also need to be working on keeping up with their Daily Dose work. After 10 days of Daily Dose, we take a quiz on those words. Therefore, students need to make sure they are reviewing those as well. Our Punctuation unit will continue this week, as well as our work on "Lob's Girl" which we will be having a test on Friday. September 29th, 2008 - Today we took our Unit 3 Vocab quiz. Tomorrow we will start on Unit 4 which is a review of the last 3 units. We will be having a quiz on Daily Doses 11-20 on Wednesday. We will also be taking a test on "Lob's Girl" on Friday. Students should be studying their Punctuation Rules each day as well.
