Our Scholastic Book Fair was a great success thanks to all of you.  We sold over $9800.00 in books.  We received 25%, so this means I put $1000.00 into the Media Checking account to buy new books and $1290.00 into the Scholastic Book Fair Catalog.  Scholastic matches the $1290.00 dollar for dollar so I have over $3100.00 to spend in the catalog on many, many media items.  Thanks so much for making our Book Fair a huge success.  

 January, February, and March is such an exciting time in our Media Center.  All Grade levels will be reading and hearing the North Carolina Book Award choices for this year.  These books are nominated by students across our state.  Our students will get to vote on theri own personnel favorite book in March.  We always enjoy waching our students get so excited over BOOKS.

 
 
Great News!
Our School System now has WorldBook on-line for all students either from school or home.  I am delighted that our System has made this avaible to our students.
