Week of February 6 - 10

I will be working with 2nd, 4th and 5th grades this week.

This is a very exciting time in the Media Center.  We are beginning our quest to find our favorite North Carolina Book Award books.   We will be working on this until the end of March when we will vote on our favorite book.  Check out the NC Book Award book link at the bottom of my page for the book titles and a short summary of each book.

Elementary Battle of the Books is gearing up.  We will be practicing during January and February on Mondays and Tuesdays after school.  The competition is on March 9 at West Rowan Middle School. 

Please plan on coming to Hurley's Family Reading Night in February.   

We will be  having a Buy One, Get One Book Fair at the end of the school year.
