Welcome to 3rd grade!! We are off to an exciting year! Below is our schedule for the week of September 20-24, 2009. . Reading: We will be wrapping up Theme 1 in our Basal readers. The students will be reviewing the predicting/inferring skill. We will then begin a genre on Poetry which will continue into next week. . Math: The students will be learning how to round and estimate numbers. . Social Studies: We are learning about landforms in North Carolina. . Reminder: The students are required to read 30 minutes each night in addition to their assigned homework. Also, please also sign your child's agenda nightly. This ensures that you have seen the daily homework and behavior comments.
