Welcome to 3rd grade!! Below is our schedule for February 8 - 12, 2010. . Reading: The students will be reading Two Days in May in the basal readers this week. Our comprehension skill will be making judgments. Our spelling words include prefixes and suffixes. In grammar, the students will be working irregular verbs. . Math: The students will be learning about patterns - symbols and numbers. . Science: The students are are continuing the unit on the moon, earth and sun.
. Ask your child to show you how to do the 12 Powerful Words song by Larry Bell. These strategies will help improve test-taking strategies. . Reminder: The students are required to read 30 minutes each night in addition to their assigned homework. Also, please also sign your child's agenda nightly. This ensures that you have seen the daily homework and behavior comments.
