Math Classes are using the Texas Instruments TI-15 calculator almost daily.  This calculator will be used on all math EOG from grades 3-8.  Its is a great tool for $20 and is useful for operations with fractions and decimals, rounding numbers, and conversions.

Science: This week we will take our knowledge of the six nutrients and begin writing our information paper.

********************************************

Weekly ClassScape Assessments: We are in week 14 of our homeroom Math assessments. ClassScape is the best practice for familiarizing ourselves with EOG type questions and keeping those math skills fresh.

Special Request:  Our school is participating in the fresh fruit and vegetable snack grant. We receive a snack three days a week. I have been providing a small cracker snack (Ritz, Townhouse, Club, or Saltine crackers) for the class the other two days. If you would like to help us out, please send them to us! The kids need a little something to carry them until lunch. We have our snack about 10:00 between Reading and Math Classes. Thanks in advance!
