You will be tested on reading and spelling each of them at the end of the year.* ___________________________________________________ In math, we are working on patterns, geometry, algebra, multiplication, and division . Please be sure you have all multiplication tables from 0s to 12s MEMORIZED. This is a requirement for all third grade students. We are stars and we will shine!
During this quarter, we are studying Earth, moon, sun, and stars in science. We are doing a unit in social studies about our roles in the community, and families and communities in different times and places. ________________________________________________________ Homework Assignments Monday - Reading - RWB p. 40 (need textbook) - Math - WB 10-1 -Read 30 minutes and record it on your daily log. -vocabulary study Tuesday - -Reading - RWB p.41-42 -Math - WB 10-2 -Read 30 minutes (or more) and record it on your daily log. -vocabulary study Wednesday - Reading - RWB p.43-44 -Math - MWB p. 10-3 -Read at least 30 minutes and record it on your daily log. -vocabulary study Thursday - Study for spelling test. -Reading - WB 45-46 -Math - WB 10-4 - Read at least 30 minutes and record it on your daily log. Use your questions to practice answering questions about what you read. Friday - NONE
***Study multiplication facts!*** Remember to bring in your soil sample from home in the baggie provided. Be sure to read every night for at least 30 minutes and record it in your agenda!!!!! They should be able to answer within one second. *Practice telling time to the nearest minute and elapsed time. *Practice counting money and change to $5.00. ***Study your measurement facts!
