Dear Parents,
    We will focus on Gifted Intelligent Behaviors for the rest of this school year. Be sure to ask your child about them and why it is important to use them. Did you use your METACOGNITION today?? Your child did!!!!
    Your child will continue to bring home a homework folder daily. In his/her folder you will find a reading sheet to log your child's daily reading and a homework sheet that indicates the daily assignment for his/her spelling words. The homework paper should be kept in their folder. The assignment will remain the same each week.
     Please practice math facts to 18 with your child. We will continue addition and subtraction strategies this week.

WEEKLY HOMEWORK
Monday- Put spelling words in ABC order.
Tuesday-Write a sentence with each spelling word.
Wednesday- Write a rhyming word with each spelling word.
Thursday-Write spelling words 2 times each.

Read 15 minutes each night.
