If you have any questions for me as the Intervention Specialist please call me at 704-279-5232 ext 119. I will be handling Homebound, Drug, alcohol, and nicotine infractions. I will also be helping to co-ordinate attendance, the staff mentoring program and the honor society's tutoring program. Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions for me as it relates to anything in our Counseling Department. Ms. Hurt (Career Development Co-ordinator) and I have completed the 6year plans for those freshmen in Health and PE. Continue talk to your student about what they want after high school. Also ask your student if they are getting what they want. Remind them, that if they are not getting what they want, maybe some tweeking of their choices will help them move closer to their goals. In guidance, we are highly qualified to help your student make choices that will move them toward what they want (goals). Try this interest inventory and see if it helps. http://www.learnmoreindiana.org/careers/exploring/Pages/IndepthCareerInterestInventory.aspx Again, Please do not hesitate to call me for any comments you might have about our guidance program or any one of my areas of concern.
