   It is about that time for our Fall Celebration.  If you would like to help please let me know.  We will have a math test on Thursday the 23rd.  We have our our Science unit test on Thursday too. We are switching units in Social Studies to government due to the upcoming election.  If you have any election materials that your child may bring in please do so by Wednesday.  Josh Cooper was elected our governor of our state Galaxy State.  Please make sure your child is doing their homework.   Reading tests are read by the students.  Therefore, it is very important that students be practicing reading.

Our story this week is Anansi and the talking melon.

Spelling Words:  page, tease, nice, those, face, huge, twice, her, two, with, call, enough, full, heard, until

Vocabulary Words:  bore, hurled, exclaimed, ridiculous, patch, prodded, impatient, insult, ripe, squeeze

Homework:

Monday: Read ten minutes and record on reading log. Write eight of the spelling words three times each.  Write two sentences with the words.  Math: 57

Tuesdsay: Read ten minutes and record on reading log.  Write the seven other spelling words three times each.  Write two sentences with the words.  Math: PW 58

Wednesday:  Read ten minutes and record on reading log.  Write spelling words in ABC order.  Math: study for test tomorrow.  Don't forget tomorrow's Science unit test.

Thursday: Read ten minutes and record on reading log.  Practice Spelling words for test.  Spelling and Reading test tomorrow!  Math: PW 52
