Welcome Incoming Students and Parents! I enjoyed meeting you at Open House. I am the special education teacher who is providing support services to your sixth grade child this school year. I am co-teaching with each of the regular education teachers in one College Prep class for each core subject area daily, in order to meet your child's educational needs as addressed in their IEPs. The paraprofessional assigned to assist me in these same classes is Mrs. Frycz. Your child is also seeing me for one hour of reading intervention each day. That hour is devoted exclusively to the implementation of a district-wide, acclaimed reading/writing program by Scholastic called Read 180 (the phonetic component goes by System 44). Kids, I am enjoying getting to know you all! I know we're going to have a GREAT year together. We already are :-) Parents and Guardians, I very much look forward to working with you. Please feel free to call me anytime for a phone conversation regarding your child's progress or to arrange a meeting at school. You may email me at loudheusden@ci.stamford.ct.us with any questions or concerns. Thank you. Ms. Oudheusden P.S. Please check your child's homework for his/her academic classes on the core academic teachers' pages. (Core teachers are Claps, Humphrey, Greene and Willinger) Only homework for Read 180/System 44 will be listed here.
