NOVEMBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH Everyone has worked very hard so far this year. Shiana Smith and Britney Williams in my 1st block and Elizabeth Gillfilan and Summer Truett in my 2nd block have been selected as our Students of the Month for November. These students have been role models by completing assignments, staying on tasks, and following all expectations. Congratulations!!!
Class Notes Students are given the opportunity to get Extra Credit by getting their study guides signed before every test. Studetns are given tickets for completeing homework and for attendance each week. On Fridays tickets are drawn for homework passes, sit with a buddy pass, free sno-cone, candy, or other prizes.....
This Week in Class Math: We will review Chapter 8 on Monday. We will begin Chapter 9 on Tuesday. We will spend three days on Lesson 9.3 adding and subtracting fractions and have a quiz on adding and subtracting fractions on Thursday. On Friday we will begin Lesson 9.4. Science: We will continue our unit on Animals. We will have a test on the Functions, Adaptations, Classifications, and Characteristics of animals on Tuesday. On Thursday we will begin to discuss Sponges and Cnidarians.
