Homework for the week All Classes ‘1/2, 4/5, 6/7:

-Read at least 20-30 minutes per night, (the book of your choice. Media Center books should be returned or renewed, during Homeroom, between classes, or at the beginning of the period.

-Check Planners for reminders of second  Spelling test for  Unit 14. Word lists went home last week.  Full directions for home study were included in my Introductory Letter / Supply List.

- Topics in Unit 14: “Art”; Stressed syllables, r-controlled, compound words,suffixes, prepositions, Subjects / predicates, adjectives, diagramming sentences, figures of speech eg similes, metaphors, fact / opinion, using context clues.

Students new to GMS will have until October 15 to turn in

Summer Reading assignments- it will be added into grades as extra credit.
