Welcome Jaguars and Tigers! December We are finishing reading the book, "City of Ember" This books talks about limiting resources and how that affects the human population of Ember. We will then watch the movie and compare and contrast the two. We have also started worm farms. We will be feeding them once every two or three weeks. We are going to watch how the worms work as decomposers and how their population changes over time. Mrs. Cumming's Blog I would like to encourage students and parents to read about what the students have found. http://mrscummingsscience.blogspot.com/ If you finish early try and beat my score on this game, I received a 69. Show me your score. Click HERE! Also check out these food webs, see if you can complete all four. When you finish one, let me check first. Click HERE! Students should plan on homework two - three nights a week. All homework is due the next day at the beginning of class, unless otherwise noted. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call the school from 12:10 -1:35 or email me at any time. cummingsme@rss.k12.nc.us
