Mrs. Rockwell's Weekly Goals

Reading - Students will continue in week 5 in our reading book.  They will work with synonyms, cause and effect, and context clues.

Language - Students will continue working with complex sentences, as well as learning to fix run-on sentneces.
   Spelling list - smear,  rehearse,  squirm,  dreary,  nerve,  suirt,  verse,  surf,  lurk,  swerve,  stern,  spurts,  lurch,  blurt,  thirst,  spur,  year, engineer,  jeer,  sneer,  clear,  yearns

Math - Students will learn about rounding to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand, and ten thousand.

Science - Students will continue in chapter 7, learning about how the Earth changes.

Social Studies - Students will continue in chapter 1.

Monday - Science Reading Support and Homework pages. 52-53 (Students will need to take home their science books.)

Tuesday - Math ditto 377-379,  Reading class - study spellling

Wednesday - Reading class- spelling, reading, and grammqar tests,  homework - synonyms ditto 34-35,  Social Studies Reading Suport and Test Prep pgs. 1 - 4

Thursday - Math ditto ps 1-8,1-9
